Lincolnshire Attractions

Situated in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire is an unspoilt county with plenty of opportunities for great day trips. Steeped in lore and legend, the area has attractions that are ancient and industrial, small and grand. Notable places to visit include Lincoln, Spalding, Stamford and the Wolds, home of Lord Tennyson.

Here are some of the many that we have the pleasure of seeing on some of our many training rides.

Humber BridgeHumber Bridge - The Humber Bridge is the third-longest single-span  (A bridge that has a roadway supported by cables that are anchored at both ends) suspension bridge in the world

Thornton AbbeyThorton Abbey - The enormous and ornate fortified gatehouse of Thornton Abbey is among the finest surviving in Britain. An early example of brick building, it proclaimed the prosperity of one of the wealthiest English Augustinian monasteries.
